Cruise and Tour Tips for Seniors.

In my 40s and 50s, I was a group cruise and tour planner and escort. I arranged group tours and cruises for seniors and escorted them. Now I'm a senior and am back doing whatever I can to make travel easier for those of us over 60.

I am not associated with a travel agency or cruise line. Just someone who knows the ins and outs of group travel and the problems that can occur for older travelers.

I'm going to tell it like it is, like it was, and like it could be. On this website, you will see tours and cruises listed that I think are good for older people, those who are on a budget, and those who can travel in ultra style.

I'm also going to share with you some of my favorite places to visit, and the best way to enjoy group tours and cruises.

My #1 piece of advice.....never, never book a cruise or tour without buying cancellation insurance. Seriously. I had more than a few people on my trips who didn't think they would cancel and for one reason or another, either an accident or a family situation and they had to cancel. I always felt badly when that happened and except for a death in the immediate family, they were not recompensed for the cancellation.  Don't do it right away when booking the tour, but when you make your final payment.
